Omnova Solutions has announced that its proprietary new graphics coating polymers have received full, unrestricted food group and temperature approvals from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (21 CFR 17-170) for use in paper, paperboard and foil products.      According to Omnova, Secoat 7821 and Secoat 7860 ink vehicles are the only products with printing press rheology that have been granted unrestricted status for coating paper that will come in contact with aqueous and fatty foods.  En...
